The Legend Returns: Jesse James Festival

Kearney’s signature event kicks off in earnest this week! While the rodeo and mud volleyball are the fan favorites, there’s a real sense of community pride that comes with the Jesse James Festival. The festival will take place on September 12th and September 18-20th.

Looking Ahead: Liberty Fall Festival

Just as the excitement in Kearney reaches its peak, Historic Downtown Liberty will transform for the 49th Annual Liberty Fall Festival on September 25-27.

With over 200 vendors, a massive parade on Saturday morning, and that classic carnival atmosphere, it’s the heart of the Northland’s autumn season.
The "Local" Move: Parking can be tight! We recommend getting to the Square early on Saturday for the parade and then grabbing lunch at one of our favorite local spots like Ginger Sue’s or La Costa Latina.
