Back-to-School: The Big Dates

If you've recently moved to the area (Welcome!), or if you just need a refresher, here are the non-negotiables for the back-to-school kickoff:

• August 20th: Kearney Open House - This is the night! Head to your student's school to find their locker, drop off supplies, and meet the teachers. 

• August 25th: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - Get the cameras ready for those front porch photos!

Before the routine of homework and early alarms set in, take some time for yourself and the community: 

• Girls Night Out: It's happening this week! Head to Historic Downtown Liberty for an evening of shopping, dining, and exclusive deals. It's the perfect "end of summer" celebration with your friends. 

• Kearney Amphitheater: The nights are starting to get slightly shorter, which makes for perfect concert weather. Check the local schedule for upcoming shows - there's no better place to spend a Saturday night in Missouri.
