Fireworks, Freedom, and a "Splash" of Gratitude

What a weekend! First off, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Splash into Summer event yesterday. Seeing so many neighbors from Kearney and Liberty enjoying snow cones and games was the highlight of our season. You are the reason we do what we do, and we're honored to be part of your community. 

Now, we're officially turning the page to July - and in the Northland, that means one thing: Independence Day. 

Where to See the Fireworks

If you're looking to celebrate locally, there are some incredible events happening right in our backyard this weekend: 

• Liberty Fest (Friday, July 3rd): Head to the Capitol Federal Sports Complex from 6:00-10:30pm. This is the big one! They'll have food trucks, inflatables for the kids, and a massive fireworks display to cap off the night. Note: You do need a parking pass, so grab yours early!

• Kearney Fireworks: Keep an eye on the Kearney Amphitheater schedule - nothing beats watching the sky light up over our favorite local park. 

• National WWI Museum and Memorial: For those wanting the "big city" experience, the World Cup Fan Festival is hosting a special "Home Team: An American Celebration" on July 3rd and 4th. 

The World Cup Round of 32

The excitement in Kansas City is at an all-time high! On July 3rd, Arrowhead Stadium (GEHA Field) will host a crucial Round of 32 match. Whether you have tickets or are heading to a watch party in Liberty, the energy in the Northland is truly historic right now. 

July Market Tip: The "Holiday Reset"

Historically, the week of July 4th is a "quiet" week for real estate as everyone focuses on family and fireworks. 

• For Buyers: This is actually a secret "power window." While other buyers are distracted by BBQs, you might find a motivated seller who is willing to talk. 

• For Sellers: If your home is on the market, make sure your "curb appeal" is patriotic! A clean porch and a well-placed flag can make a house feel like a "home" more than anything else this week.
